How to move tempdb to another drive in SQL Server

All most all DBA can answer, how to move tempdb to another drive in SQL Server? This is one of the best practices for tempdb performance point of view. Tempdb is not like other databases and cannot be backed up and restored to another location. The location of tempdb files has to be changed manually in SQL Server, once done a restart of SQL service is required to re-initiate the tempdb in new location.

The file “tempdev” has been modified in the system catalog. The new path will be used the next time the database is started.
The file “templog” has been modified in the system catalog. The new path will be used the next time the database is started.

Note: Restart the SQL Service to re-initiate the tempdb in new location.
